Thief Eats Bread, Steals Cat Food
A Lawrenceburg woman returned to her home late last week to find someone had broken in, eating part of her bread and stealing her cat food.
The victim, age 56, reported to officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department that she had returned to her Oak Street apartment around 8:15 p.m. Friday to find that her door had been unlocked.
She said the only items that appeared to have been stolen were cat food and diabetic supplies. She told officers that the burglar had apparently eaten some of her bread and coffee creamer before leaving.
